Daniel Snyder, M.Ed, CSP, CHMM, CET

Mr. Snyder holds a B.A. in Science and Biology from the University of Northern Iowa and a M.Ed. in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from the University of Arkansas. Dan served his country as a U.S Army military intelligence operative for the 194th Long Range Surveillance Airborne detachment in the 34th Infantry Division and as part of the National Response plan during Hurricane Katrina delivering disaster site worker training for construction and demolition government contractors. With 16 years experience as a consultant, he has assisted companies with improving safety and health processes, prepares for OSHA VPP, conducts workplace audits, facilitates grant funded research to improve safety performance, and designs customized training programs.
He is an authorized instructor in Construction and General Industry for the Midwest OSHA Education Center and adjunct faculty for the TEEX OSHA Education Center. His is a Past- President of the Arkansas Chapter of ASSE, Past-President of the Greater Ozarks AHMP Chapter, and former Director for the National Safety Council’s Ozark chapter. Currently Mr. Snyder is a Managing Partner in the Performance Based Safety, LLC consulting network, owns SPAN International Training, LLC, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals.
